ASNAKA M GALABADAARACHI

Asanka Melroy Galbadaarachchi is a highly accomplished financial sector professional with over 16 years of diversified experience in key areas such as financial restructuring, financial reporting, designing internal controls, financial risk management, and taxation. He currently holds the position of Chief Manager of Financial Reporting at HNB Finance PLC, where he leads a team in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.

Prior to this role, Asanka demonstrated his financial acumen in several senior positions, including Head of Finance at LCB Finance PLC, where he managed financial operations and strategy, and Group CFO at Fairway Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis. His career also includes a tenure as CFO at Multi Finance PLC, where he successfully oversaw financial management and drove initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Asanka's academic qualifications reflect his commitment to excellence in the field of finance. He earned his MBA in General Business Administration from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance Management (Special) from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. He is a finalist in the Chartered Accountancy program (Case Study) at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and has achieved Fellow Member status at the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA).
